Organic Strategy 2024-2030 launch

The launch of the strategy marks the culmination of significant work by the Organic
Strategy Forum and engagement with a wide range of stakeholders over the last
year.

The strategy marks the next phase of the development of the organic farming,
aquaculture and food sector in Ireland. The sector has shown significant growth
over recent years with the number of farmers nearly trebling and the level of
organic food production set to expand considerably from 2025 onwards.

The strategy outlines a clear roadmap for growing the value and contribution of the
organic sector to 2030 and will guide the future work programme of the Organic
Strategy Forum.
